The photo project "Against the Light" - is an observation in time. It started a long time ago and continues to this day. Plants on the windowsill are a topic that is always in front of the eyes; at first glance, everything here is unchanged, but in this "unchanged" there is an infinite difference, if you live with it, of course. And that's not only the obvious difference- depending on the season, changes in lighting, day, night, folds in the curtains, but also depending on your personal mood, state of mind, circumstances beyond your control..."
This text was written while I was working on the project and it seemed that the project would be endless. My every morning began with coffee, next to my favorite plants, contemplating them. The full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine changed everything. I had to leave my apartment when my city was bombed. Without me, all the flowers died and now exist only in the photographs of the project "Against the Light".
